JAAN introduces new menu highlights

Located at the Equinox Complex, JAAN is an intimate 40-seater focused on modern French cuisine and impeccable service. Featuring a stunning Murano crystal and silver free-form chandelier, as well as breathtaking views of the surrounding city, JAAN is also known for its award-winning cuisine which has seen it ranked 74th at The World’s Best Restaurants 2015 and 11th at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015, both awards sponsored by S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.

This month, JAAN launches a series of new menu highlights created by Chef de Cuisine, Kirk Westaway. These menus will be available for lunch and dinner and feature a harmonious selection of quality ingredients — one of Chef Westaway’s specialties.

Each menu will highlight signature dishes such as the Langoustine Cannelloni and the simple-sounding yet flavourful Tomato Collection for appetisers. For the main course, enjoy an intricately prepared Forest Pigeon with Coarse Polenta then indulge in a plate of Roasted Fresh Peaches and ice cream for dessert.

Other highlights on the menu are the fresh Irish oysters which can be enjoyed during the degustation dinner menu and also the Crayfish Zucchini decorated with fresh vegetables.

Originally from England, Chef Westaway has a colourful background including multiple stints in Michelin-starred restaurants such as three Michelin-starred Daniel in New York City and Michelin-starred Greenhouse Restaurant Mayfair, London. He was also the recent winner in the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 competition Southeast Asian region and recently returned from Milan where he competed in the global competition.

Chef Westaway’s culinary philosophy is all about retaining the original flavour of each ingredient and allowing its character to shine through. As such, his new Artisanal menus for Jaan feature quality ingredients in a marriage of textures and flavours.

JAAN’s new Chef de Cuisine Kirk Westway is heating things up in the kitchen with new menus for its diners.

JAAN is also champagne brand Krug’s first restaurant Ambassade in Singapore, and as such presents an exclusive Krug menu which complements the fine craftsmanship of the brand’s champagnes. JAAN will also offer the full range of Krug, including some vintage bottles that were previously unavailable in Singapore.
