Champagne on demand: G.H. Mumm at Art Central

As the official champagne partner of Hong Kong’s very own art fair, Art Central (23-26 March 2016), G.H. Mumm will not only be presenting an exclusive champagne bar but also a series of mixed-media performance art installations and a fabulous Media x Mumm Harbour party to kick off Hong Kong art week.

The champagne bar will be the place at Art Central to mingle and muse over all the delightful dining and art experiences on offer. The bar will feature an ethereal and immersive a projected audiovisual installation by NONOTAK studio’s DAYDREAM and two new limited edition bottles of G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge, which will be on offer for the first time in Hong Kong.

Passionate about art and leading through innovation, Mumm will also be offering champagne on demand. With the help of SpotHelp (a text-based concierge service), you can simply whatsapp your champagne order (by glass or bottle) and let them know which booth you’re at.

G.H. Mumm and Art Central have also collaborated on a series of five ‘Media x Mumm’ art installations, which are all about pushing boundaries. Highlights include experimental art space, The Container, which will play host to four projects inside their shipping container during the fair, including a performance by artist JackMcLean. Taiwanese artist Ting-Tong Chang will also be presenting The Colosseum — a piece of performance art where Chang will be blindfolded and confined to a prison-like structure for eight hours each day as he draws a panorama of the world around him.

The Media x Mumm Harbour party is one of the biggest highlights at Hong Kong art week.

The by-invitation only Media x Mumm party will take place on the ‘First Night’ of Art Central (Monday, 21 March) and will light up the harbour with live performances by artist Jack McLean, a renowned circuit DJ, their new reflective David Guetta bottle and lots of champagne.
