All that jazz: 5 best jazz bars in Singapore to check out

Updated on October 12 2016

When it comes to truly letting down one’s hair after a hectic day at work, nothing can quite rival partaking in a little (drunken) sing-a-long while chugging down boozy brews at a vibrant, live music venue. After all, who can resist unleashing their inner Beyoncé, Adele or ’90s boyband member after spending the whole afternoon stuck in a stuffy office?

But for those of us who aren’t as fond of top 40 hits (or public humiliation), and prefer to unwind to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Jamie Cullum in a more refined, intimate setting, here are 5 jazz bars to visit for that next session of post-work revelry. From a sexy whisky joint serving up cigars and the blues, to a new restaurant-bar run by the owners of the iconic Montreux Jazz Festival, these spiffy spots are bound to satisfy every music lover’s soul.
