We all know Sarah Jessica Parker’s notable role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, and no matter how long ago the show ended, fans will always remember the moment when she got her jewellery, purple sequin Fendi Baguette and Manolo Blahniks mugged in broad daylight. This year, the actress has launched a capsule collection of shoes by her label, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, exclusive to Net-a-Porter.
With Sex and the City being one of the hit series of the ’90s, Parker’s stiletto-obsessed character made brands like Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin a few of the most covetable shoe labels to date.
The label itself had already been launched in February 2014, in partnership with Manolo Blahnik’s CEO, George Malkemus III. Handcrafted by a third-generation Tuscan shoemaker in Italy, each shoe is timeless and classic; shoes that could last for an extended duration of time without digging too deep into your pockets.
This year, Parker’s 16-piece capsule collection ranges from the “Carrie” T-bar pumps (naturally), to “Fugue” — glittery strappy sandals, which were also her SATC character’s weakness. This limited collection consists mainly of metallic jewel shades like ruby, sapphire, gold and pink topaz.
For those who are still panicking over a party shoe for the holiday season, Parker’s array of pumps (and three party flats too) allows you to emulate a princess without busting your budget. Just remember to purchase them ASAP before they go out of stock.
Die hard fans of Carrie, these shoes are currently available on Net-a-Porter.
