Singapore Theatre Festival 2018 - Lifestyle Asia

The Singapore Theatre Festival will present eight local productions this year presented by theatre company W!ld Rice. Watch out for plays like Press Gang directed by Ivan Heng and An Actress Prepares written by poet-playwright Alfian Sa'at, during the fifth edition of the festival that ends 22 July.

Jazz buffs, you're in luck. Austrian musician trio David Helbock, Johannes Bär and Andreas Broger will perform in Esplanade Theatres this July. The group will have an hour-long musical arrangement, including Bolivia by Cedar Walton, and My Song by Keith Jarret.

Based on the anthology novel Here and Beyond: 12 Stories, the play by Toy Factory Productions will present 12 short local stories fused into a single narrative. The short stories were written by famous authors and poets like Yeo Wei Wei, S Rajaratnam and Felix Cheong.
