Rarely do you see the traditional red-sail Chinese junk boat as contemporary yachts are favoured for weekend trips out on the sea. But, with aqua luna's new day cruises, you can inject a sense of nostalgia out as you re-discover some of Hong Kong's best bits.
The aqua luna was hand built over an 18 month period by a veteran shipbuilder using traditional Chinse boat building methods, which makes it great to take out when you've got out of town guests visiting.
On Wednesdays, aqua luna takes a 6 hour adventure outbound to Cheung Chau island. On Thursdays, it sets sail for Joss House Bay where Hong Kong's oldest and largest Tin Hau temple dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea is located. And on weekends, its a 75 min trip round to Stanley Village and the Market - this is particularly great for newcomers.
Prices range from HK$290 to HK$380 per person with a light lunch included in some of the routes. For more information check out their
