The Singapore River Festival returns with a bang. For the first time, all four quays - Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Empress Place and Robertson Quay will be participating in the week long festivities between 19th to 27th of June.
Like previous years, the Singapore River will be transformed into a vibrant stage for musicals, aerial performances and a bum boat parade. This year, Singapore's homegrown magicians JC Sum and Magic Babe Ning will be attempting to set a record for the most number of grand illusions performed under 5 minutes. This will happen on the 27th of June, look out for that one.
Naturally, revelers can also expect a throng of parties and lots of merry making along the Singapore River. For a surreal mix of circus antics and good thumping music head down to Boat Quay on the 20th of June for a series of circus themed outdoor parties headlined by international Djs Audi Misdemeanor and DJ Jon White.
If Cuban Jazz is your thing, head down to Clarke Quay for an evening of hot salsa dancers and specially concocted Mojitos at the Central Square on 20th of June.
