A preview tour prior to the official opening has definitely affirmed that statement. Set across 10,000 square metres of lush, tropical grounds, this Asian flagship ESPA is the largest luxury spa in Singapore. With this much space, guests are expected to visit at least an hour prior to your appointment, and then stay another hour post-treatment, to enjoy the relaxation areas designed for a wholesome experience.
For one, guests may visit the heat room, where there’s a steam and sauna, as well as 38 degree Celsius hot pool to relax the muscles, before heading for the cool plunge. An onsen-inspired pool area within a tropical garden allows for both genders to soak together, in view of the relaxation lounge.
Besides the 24 multi-functional private treatment rooms with balconies, two private spa suites and two beach villas, the main highlight of ESPA would be its first-in-Singapore authentic Turkish Hammam treatment room. Picture the usage of traditional Kese mitt and black olive soap, a full-body foam massage followed by a mud body mask, all within the confines of a 40 degrees Celsius heated room.
And just when you thought that was it, ESPA provides a nail studio, a fully-equipped gym, yoga studio and a health-conscious café offering contemporary cuisine – The Tangerine Spa Café. Post-treatment, visitors are encouraged to make use of the sleep lounge, just to catch up on the needed rest while you’re in the right place. If not, the social room is perfect for hanging out with your friends. Trust us when we say you could stay there all day, if you afford the luxury of time.
