Apparently in Hong Kong, you can never have too many members clubs. And so the latest to open in Central is Hyde, a swanky 12,000 square foot space designed by Kinney Chan that spreads out over two different atmospheres in one venue.
The club features two wall sized LED screens which project videos and a crisp European Nexo audio sound system to create a state of the art clubbing experience.

A private lift whisks Hyde's privileged members discreetly up to the second floor, right smack bang into the middle of the club for extra privacy, where there is an enclosed VIP section with its own private bar overlooking the main club area. There's also an extravagant cellar stocked with the finest wines and champagnes. The island bar in the centre of the club is extra convenient when it gets full up.

The third floor is Hyde Lounge where members can chill out with friends or enjoy an after work champagne from the long bar. There is also a menu of snacks and pool tables by designer Marcel Wanders. The lounge was designed with a New York loft type feel to it and it is open throughout the day. It's a great place to pop in for a quick bite to eat during lunch if you don't want to deal with the Central/Soho chaos.

For smokers, there are three outdoor terraces. Hyde membership is available for HK$18,000 each which gets you 1 year membership, priority booking, exclusive private lift access, HK$18k worth of food and beverage credit as well as regular free pool play for one hour a day.
