Remember one of the 5 Cool New Laptops I was talking about last week? Well, the wait is up. Sony has just introduced us the latest VAIO Z Series and I'm beyond impressed.
Sony's laptops have always been pretty heavy (2kg and above). But at only 1.165kg and 16.65mm, the latest 13.1inch VAIO Z is truly a milestone for Sony. Perfect for professionals on the go, the VAIO Z's paper-thin Sheet Battery can extend its usage of up to 13 hours continuously. And that is without the need of removing the internal one!
Compared to its predecessor, the newer version of the Z series has an amazing boot up time of just under 14seconds, compared to 29seconds before. Its full HD display has an anti-reflective glossy finish, supporting 96% of the Adobe RGB colour gamut.
And then, there's this power media dock i.e. docking station that allows this VAIO Z to function just like a desktop PC. With built-in AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 1GB VRAM, you can only expect awesome graphic perfomance. Besides a Blu-ray Disc drive, there's also HDMI, VGA and 3 USB ports for more connectivity interfaces.
