Sony Xperia U
Before MWC 2012 kicked off, there was a slew of product leaks concerning Sony's newest addition to its popular Xperia line. Hence, it was to no surprise when the Japanese electronic giant unveiled the new Xperia U at the MWC 2012. Did the phone live up to all its pre-convention hype? Well, we believe so.
Done up with a sleek, streamline design that is a trademark of any Sony product, the Xperia U will certainly attract the trendy smartphone user today. Behind its looks, the Xperia U works on a reasonably powerful operating system, with all the necessary functions required of a smartphone in today's market.

Samsung Galaxy Beam
Samsung was one of the biggest players at MWC 2012, announcing a whole slew of new smartphones, including the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. However, it is another Samsung Galaxy model that got onto our wishlist today -- Samsung Galaxy Beam.
At first glance, the Samsung Galaxy Beam looks like any other Samsung phone, albeit with a striking yellow and black colour scheme. What makes the Galaxy Beam stand out from the rest is its ultra-bright, 15-lumen projector, which lets you project a 50-inch wide image on a wall. This would certainly come in handy for impromptu presentations or sharing your holiday moments with friends and family.

The FonePad is truly a transformer in many aspects. In its smartphone form, the FonePad boasts a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED high definition (HD) screen with a powerful dual-core processor running on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform. However, a quick insertion into its tablet unit transform the smartphone into a fully functional tablet, complete with a vibrant 10-inch HD display and longer battery life. The ability to switch between smartphone and tablet makes the Asus FonePad a must-have on our wishlist.
