Owning second homes seem to be a trend amongst the rich these days, and looks like Vietnam is the next holiday home destination to be, with big brands such as the Banyan Tree Group announcing the upcoming launch of the country's first world-class integrated resort -- Laguna Lăng Cô on 1 November 2012.

Starting off with the hotels, Banyan Tree Lăng Cô and Angsana Lăng Cô will offer resort villas and suites with private pools, for a luxurious and contemporary retreat by the bay.
The highlight to Banyan Tree Lăng Cô would be its award-winning spa and a marine centre, for some rest and relaxation as well as opportunities to explore the East Sea. The marine centre features aquatic activities such as jet skiing, parasailing, water skiing, wind surfing, kayaking and banana boat rides, while the Activities Centre offers archery, mountain biking, all-terrain vehicles (ATV), kids’ ATVs, 2-seater mini cars and horse riding.
An 18-hole championship golf course -- The Laguna Lăng Cô Golf Club, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, will allow for great business and leisure gatherings, thanks to the scenic backdrops through the winding course.
