Good news to Qatar Airways' Privilege Club members; starting January 2012, members of Qatar Airways frequent flyer programme can collect air miles each time they stay at any one of the 27 Swissotel Hotels and Resorts around the world.
The new partnership sees yet another milestone for both the international hotel chain and the Qatari airline, which is based in Doha. With Swissotel venturing into the Middle East market as they are set to open Swissotel Makkah in Saudi Arabia mid this year, it is definitely the right step to take in collaborating with Qatar Airways.
"This new partnership is our way of expressing how much we value our guests in this region," says Stephanie Hilgers, executive director in partner marketing, FRHI and Swissotel Hotels and Resorts.
Qatar Airways, named the world's best airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, flies from Doha to numerous Middle Eastern destinations, including Amman and Abu Dhabi, as well as other destinations around the world, such as Berlin, Zurich, Moscow and Shanghai, just to name a few.
