Located in the exclusive enclave of Bali's south peninsula, The Westin Resort Nusa Bua Bali is among some of the finest resorts in the Indonesian resort island. The hotel is built to impress. The architecture and interiors at The Westin can be best described as modern luxury with a distinctive Balinese Flair.
The extensive use of light and dark woods in the architecture blends well with the modern selection of furniture. For romantic getaways or special occasions you should consider the Royal Beach Club rooms (USD$400 onwards) which are the resort's premiere rooms and entitle guests to a range of exclusive privileges like access to a private lounge serviced by attendants all day long.
One of the highlights of the resort is its fairly large fresh water pool with a 12-metre waterslide, perfect for keeping the kids busy all day long or for a dip to cool off between tanning sessions.
For a nice quiet day by the beach you can also hop into one of the many cocoons or pods by the beach. Drinks and some cool nibbles like mini ice cream cones are also handed out by the pool and the beach regularly which is a nice touch.
However the hotel has seen better days having been around for some time, some areas of the hotel could use a face lift. But that said, The Westin Nusa Bua Bali is still a great hotel, with ample facilities, friendly faces and very spacious and private suites.
