Afterall, a good flight is what kickstarts and wraps up a good holiday. So the next time you consider a vacation anywhere, hope this helps!
1. Qatar Airways
Just last week, Qatar Airways has been named the World’s Best Airline at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards. This award is voted by 18.8 milion airline passengers, so you can well be rest assured when they say Qatar is the best.
Currently one of the fastest growing 5-star airline in the world, it has a fleet of 96 aircrafts flying to 100 destinations around the globe. Awarded World’s Best Economy Class at the Skytrax World Airline Awards back in 2009, their cabin crew, in-flight entertainment, and food & beverage services are really what sets them apart.
2. Qantas Airways
Australia’s largest operating airlines, Qantas Airways is the oldest continuously operating airline in the world. Think 90 years to be exact; that itself is self-explanatory.
It really takes more than just good service these days to stay in business with all these new competitors around the world. But Qantas has remained as one of the Top 10 airlines of the world since 2005. I’m exceptionally fond of the airline having actor and certified pilot John Travolta as their ambassador-at-large.
3. Singapore Airlines
Notably one of the leading world-class airlines, Singapore Airlines is the first to fly the Airbus A380. It is not only ranked 2nd best airline in the world, but has also won the Best Airline in Asia as well as Best Airline Business Class.
Singapore Airlines have always pride themselves for having one of the best service crew in the world (not forgetting pleasant-looking as well). The signature Singapore Girl is possibly the most recognizable figure in the airline industry.
4. Cathay Pacific Airways
The flag carrier of Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific Airways retains its 4th position of the World Airlines Awards. Bagging the World’s Best First Class Airline Seat award as well as Best Transpacific Airline, Cathay Pacific flies 114 destinations in 36 countries around the world.
Personally, this is one of my favourite airline especially for short haul flights around Asia! And if you were going on First Class, their seats extend to full-length beds and you may even request for duvets, pillows and sleepwear!
If you are considering a non-stop long haul flight, Emirates might just be the right airline of choice. They just won the World’s Best Airline Inflight Entertainment this year, so you can be rest assured that you will not be bored at any point in time.
Emirates is the largest airline in the Middle East, operating over 2,400 passenger flights per week, to 111 cities in 62 countries across six continents. The company also operates three of the world’s ten longest non-stop commercial flights from Dubai to different parts of USA.
