Remember our column, "The Flavours of Asia", a bi-weekly feature on the art of wine pairing with Asian cuisine? Well, there's no need to mourn the loss of the column any longer -- there's now an app for the iPad that has all the information from our column (and more) neatly packed inside.
Called "Flavours Asia", the iPad app is brought to us by the Moët Hennessy Estates and Wines Collection and features a gorgeous black interface that's also easy to use.
Learn about the different brands of New World wines, read articles from Asia's finest sommeliers, chefs, and bloggers and get advice on the best wine pairing options with Asia's most signature dishes including Peking duck, chilli crab, Tom Yum Goong soup and Vietnamese spring rolls.
The Flavours Asia app is free to download from iTunes, but we're also giving you the fantastic opportunity to win a bottle of wine from Moët Hennessy and a copy of The Flavours of Asia hardcover book (the perfect addition to your coffee table).
All you have to do is tell us which wines pair best with roast goose in Hong Kong and chilli crab in Singapore in the entry form below (hint: the answers are in the Flavours Asia app), along with your contact details.
The contest is open to LifestyleAsia readers in Hong Kong and Singapore with six winners in total (three each) and closes on 1 June 2012. Good luck!
