Who knew social distancing could be so romantic?

SF Cinema has announced that it will be launching a drive-in cinema in Bangkok as a means to maintain social distancing whilst still enjoying your favourite movies.

If you miss going to the cinema and are a little sick of your home cinema, it’s the ideal night out — very much like living your own American high school movie.

Together with CAT Telecom, SF Cinema will be debuting the pop-up drive-in cinema from 2-5 July outside the Crystal Design Center (CDC). For the premier, we’re hearing that Trolls World Tour will be the first movie to air, making for a very family-friendly option.

If you’re worried about a) the environment because you’ll be keeping your car (and AC) running the whole time and b) not having any popcorn, do not fret on either of these points. SF Cinema assures they will be providing portable air-conditioners, as well as a selection of food and drink for visitors to enjoy.

Date night, but make it social distancing. We kind of love it.
