The period after Christmas is always a little awkward. We’re currently in that strange limbo in between two massive periods of festivities. While getting over the end of all the tinsel and jingles (oh, and that massive hangover if you were one of Santa’s “naughty” ones), we’re also getting prepped for yet more celebrations as we reach the new year. But don’t let this weird in-between period bring down your high spirits. In order to stay on that buzz and keep up the festive hype, we’re looking over some of the wonderful moments from Christmas in Bangkok this year.
To get over those post-Christmas blues, we’re re-living it just one last time through these wonderful festive ‘grams from Bangkokians. Some may be skeptical of shopping mall Christmas decorations, but Central World’s display and special performances did bring lots of people together in festive spirit. And, at the end of the day, isn’t that what makes Christmas so magical?
We’ll count ourselves lucky to be one of those cities that can have Christmas dinners al fresco. And nowhere took advantage of this as wonderfully as The Peninsula Hotel did.
Of course, Thailand’s favourite prom king and queen must also have their statement Christmas post. And, we admit, it is incredibly cute. How do they do it?!
