Songkran is approaching and there’s never been a better time to deck yourself in traditional Thai garb.
Thai craftsmanship is well known throughout the world for its rich heritage. If you’re looking for something handmade to wear this Thai New Year, head over to ICONCRAFT, the Thai handicrafts platform at ICONSIAM.
To promote the latest collection of Thai accessories, ICONCRAFT has unveiled the ‘Bejeweled in Thai Style’ exhibition. From now until 18 April 2021, explore an array of craftwork from jewelry to textiles and other objets d’art.

The fair will feature Chansoma, the respected Thai textile house led by Weeratham Taragoonngernthai. Besides textiles, Weeratham will debut his ‘Thanimpimpaporn’ accessories line, which was inspired by the flowers in the Traibhumikatha.

Another standout brand to be showcased at the fair is Galerie de Himmapan, which has brought a line of handheld fans to the fair. Materials have been sourced from around the world, with montures from Spain and fabrics and papers from China. Each piece, depicting scenes from ancient Thai mythology, is hand-painted by both Thai artists and foreign collaborators who have reinterpreted the scenes in their own way.

In addition to heritage brands, up-and-coming names such as V by Sritavie, Luck Thai, and Guru Antique Jewelry will make an appearance at the event.

Experience and shop these exquisite pieces at Bejeweled in Thai Style from now until 18 April at ICONCRAFT on the 4-5th floor of ICONSIAM and the 3rd floor of Siam Discovery.
