Go old school this Halloween and kick back to the creepies with a classic horror movie. Bringing a true cult-horror blast from the past to their theatre, the Bangkok Screening Room will be showing classic Halloween flicks, such as The Evil Dead and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Those who show up in a Halloween costume will also get free popcorn, so it’s definitely worth donning that witch hat and superhero onesie to the show.

Inviting you to unveil the diva inside you this Halloween, the W Hotel’s Woobar is hosting a drag queen-themed Halloween party this year, with a special performance by the amazing ‘queen of the night’ Gene Kasidit. Bangkok’s buzzing Escape is sure to score high on Instagram likes next week. The rooftop bar will be decked out with a creepy Aokigahara forest at the entrance, eerie torture toilets, a scary show girls dancing table top, and a host of terrifying(ly good) entertainment. With various DJs playing old school hip hop, funk, and house music throughout the night, Escape is the place to be seen this Halloween. There’ll also be a whole bunch of prizes given to the best and scariest costumes, so it’s a great excuse to come dressed to shock.

Thonglor neighbourhood hangout The Commons is inviting visitors to take part in a whole range of activities this Halloween. Be it trick or treating, a scavenger hunt, workshops, or a little monsters costume contest, the venue will be buzzing with activities for the whole family. There’ll also be a 10-hour DJ marathon to keep the beats going throughout the day (and night), as well as special food vendors selling Halloween-themed treats.

For those who really want to party it up this Halloween, there’s only one true destination. Sukhumvit Soi 11’s Levels has long been known as one of the most happening clubs in town, and with its Black Masquerade Halloween 2018 Party, Bangkok is in for another banger. Resident band Foreign Xchange as well as Swedish DJ duo JRL will be on the music, and makeup artists will also be available throughout the night. The dress code is ‘horror glam’, and entry is free of charge before midnight.
