Siam Paragon Watch Expo 2018 opens with an exclusive celebrity showcase

The most anticipated event in the calendar of any watch lover in Bangkok, Siam Paragon Watch Expo is back for its annual showcase of exquisite timepieces.

Now in its 12th consecutive year, the three-week exhibition is quickly becoming Thailand’s most celebrated watch expo, this time bringing in over 180 luxury watch brands from Baselworld 2018, SIHH 2018, and beyond. The official opening event welcomed watch enthusiasts and celebrities alike to an exclusive fashion show, where the extravagant timepieces were presented in utmost glamour, and to a glittering reception.

Categorised into luxury, fashion, and sports watches, the expo is themed around a ‘Unique Timepieces’ concept, allowing collectors and admirers alike to explore rare items as well as creative revivals of the classics. For an exciting teaser, the official launch show featured standout pieces presented by various Thai celebrities: Khun Nont Thanon modelled Tag Heuer’s LINK modern sports watch, and Khun Prang Kannarun Wongkhajonkai presented the Titan T-2589KM01 Neo-III Analog. The star of the night was definitely Franck Muller’s Double Mystery watch, worth a whopping 22 million baht, and presented by Khun Janie Thienphosuvan.
