How is it already almost August? As time continues to fly, and Bangkok continues to tip toe between rainy wet days and sunshine, our event calendars for the second half of July are filled to the brim with just as much variation. We’re all about food and music this month. Bastille Day is hot off the tracks, a number of international stars are coming to the city, and yet we’re still also celebrating our local favourites, up-and-coming talent, and plenty of Bangkok business success stories. With Bastille Day on 14 July, there’s not time like the present to celebrate all that is French and fabulous. Bringing all kinds of European flair to suit, Cocotte is hosting a French Week this July, combining traditional and delicious regional French dishes with Cocotte character. Part of the second edition of the #SiriMind series, the event will see aromatherapist Katherine Leili Dreith introducing participants to a vast array of powerful scents, each known to enhance both physical and emotional health. In the mood to party? This July, Escape is inviting all party-goers to bring their tribes, whilst they provide the vibes. Featuring a blend of DJs (NPKRN/YY and Arm on Bass) alongside live musicians, the rooftop bar atop Emquartier is hosting a colourful party in the heart of the city. Certainly one for the ‘gram, there’s going to be free face painting, too.
