As lockdown measures are slowly being lifted, Bangkok is started to awaken again. For the second half of June 2021, there’s plenty to explore.

Did you know that the world-renowned hotel designer Bill Bensley also paints? River City is collaborating with him this June to auction off 10 of his paintings. You can view them at River City Bangkok until 30 June, and bid online until midnight Bangkok time that day. What’s more, 90% of the auction sales for ‘The Outsider Art of Bill Bensley’ will go to the Shinta Mani Foundation and Wildlife Alliance. Beautiful art for a beautiful cause.

Artist Jarasporn Chumsri is displaying this very uniquely-named art exhibition at Jam Factory until the end of June. Her work is inspired by Google’s newly-launched platform called ‘Google Arts & Culture,’ which allows users to visit heritage sites and view famous art pieces from all around the world. It’s an interesting subject matter, and Jarasporn’s perspective of the digital lens is definitely an interesting one to explore.
