Hosted by The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, World Press Photo Exhibition taking place at ICONSIAM’s floating museum will showcase some of the world’s most thought-provoking photographs. Taken by various different photographers the goal is to educate people, as well as encourage art appreciators to debate about each work’s meaning and purpose.
Maggie Choo’s, as you know it, never runs out of fun-filled events performed by in-house entertainers and special guests. This time around it’s Mother Funky — one of Bangkok’s most astonishing jazz bands, who will crank up their funky smooth jazz all night long.
Want a taste of the sea with some bubbly? This Oyster & Champagne night hosted by The House on Sathorn will satisfy you just right with an endless supply of the two delicacies. For a family-friendly activity, go for the Gingerbread House Workshop over at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok, instructed by the hotel’s executive pastry chef to properly start your festive season as a family. Followed by the workshop is an international lunch buffet with festive offerings to get you and your kids in the Christmas mood.
Siri House will sprinkle Christmas spirit through waves of melodious pop tunes performed by talents like Chucheewa, fluffypak, and Parim this month. Stop by Jacqueline bar and make yourself at home like it’s your own living room.
For one night only, 100 Mahaseth will temporarily take over Suan Plu neighbourhood bar, Smalls, with their vibrant, spice-packed Thai Isaan and Northern fare. Partygoers, expect nothing average at Flamenco Sky Bar & Lounge. This New Year Eve, they are bringing over the Quirky Circus lined with a team of skilled magicians, stilt walkers, acrobatics, and even jugglers along with live bands and a DJ to throw a night revelry to remember.
