You can’t go wrong when you end the day with a strong gin and tonic. And it only gets better when there’s variety on the G&T menu, from Bangkok’s own Iron Ball gin refreshed with Thai basil, lime and juniper berries to Colombian gin garnished with a cinnamon stick and dehydrated lemon. This night is bound to delight even the least enthusiastic of gin drinkers. Perched high in the sky above the city’s streets, ABar Rooftop is the place to be and this particular night will be led by some expert bartenders who know what they’re ginning about.
The beloved Seoul-born and Berlin-based DJ Peggy Gou will be taking over Beam during the club’s 3rd anniversary celebrations. Fans of Gou have blossomed far and wide in the fashion and music world since the talented female achieved her goal of becoming the first South Korean DJ to play at Berlin’s most famous – or infamous – nightclub, Berghain. She’s played on some of the world’s largest stages, everything between Boiler Rooms and Coachella. There’s no better way to celebrate 3 years of Beam than by Gou’ing hard!
Guiness World Record Holders Dave Farrow (for memory), Scott Flansburg (the human calculator) and Howard Berg (the world’s fastest reader) will come together for the first time to share with you their version of brain power, sharing some insights into how to unlock the intelligence of your mind. This will then be followed by a black tie exclusive red carpet GALA dinner which will be welcoming up to 500 VIPS ranging from governors, top celebrities, movie stars, TV personalities, top CEOs and more, awarding attendees with a unique opportunity to network and maybe even bring in some bigger Baht in 2019. Head to the Grand Ballroom.
Express yourself with a glass of wine (or a few) and a paintbrush. Relax and unwind in an intimate setting and give yourself a chance to see what appears on your canvas while simultaneously drowning away your worries. Rest assured, this won’t be a competition to see who can paint better than who, this will be a freestyle painting and social session that will allow you to create and meet new people. So if you haven’t touched a paintbrush since you left school, it really doesn’t matter, here’s a chance for you to reconnect with your artistic side while having fun.

During a not-to-be-missed Sunday afternoon-til-late vibe, Disco Diaries will return for its 5th installment at Tropic City, in collaboration with the party-throwers at Late Night Bangkok. Sure enough, it’ll be all about good food, class cocktails and damn good disco music that will ensure you end the weekend on a dancing note with some of Thailand’s most talented DJs setting the bar high and the bass, relatively low.
Back for the second time, this will be a night filled with poetry and a perfect way to ring in the end of January. Here is a new non-judgmental platform for poets, writers and all-round-artists to connect and express their creativity by either reading words they’ve written, or by singing, rapping, mumbling or anything else you can think of that might appeal to the audience. Some regard this as therapy, others find it entertaining and most attend to connect with others. You don’t have to perform, but if you do, heads up: your maximum time on stage is 3 minutes.
Latin music enthusiasts will delight in attending this one-of-a-kind event that presents the genre in an entirely new light. Guitarist and singer-songwriter Buhonero Clandestino, an artist forever occupied with bringing together the cultures of Latin American and Asia, will be releasing his 3rd single, บอกฉันที (Bokchanti), a milestone for him as this is his first Thai song ever!
