Originally an online bakery with delivery services, Wondering Café & Bakeshop has finally opened a cafe on Nang Linchi Road. Offering a freshly-baked batch of homemade pastries everyday, the cafe is noted for all things sweet and savoury, including golden-brown croissants with sliced apples or barbecue pork. The strawberry malted milkshake is something not to be missed, too. Bold and bright, yet stylishly elegant, the space is fitted with blue velvet seatings and marble table tops, set against splashes of ombré hues on the walls.

With interiors inspired by the mythical garden, stepping into House Of Eden will make you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Here, everything is delightful in its glory, from peachy-pink sofas to luxe rose-gold lighting fixtures. With an all-pink colour scheme, not only is the space highly Instagramable, but the dishes are also stunningly prepared. From the dessert menus, expect dark chocolate and lemon meringue tarts that are sized and frosted to perfection. Make sure you pair your meals with a rose milk frappe and Thai tea creme brûlée, too.

Bringing their much-loved French desserts to the heart of Bang Khen’s area, former pop-up Moonne Kitchen & Studio has now launched a cafe on Watcharaphol Road. From hazelnut meringues to chocolate mousse with gold flakes, the scrumptious delicacies here are executed by the talented chefs from famous French cooking institute, Le cordon bleu. As for drinks, they also serve up fresh milk infused with natural vanilla from Madagascar. With modern loft-style interiors, this is the spot where you can enjoy fine creations in a casual-cool setting.

With a name translating to ‘morning’ in Thai, there’s probably no better place to get your caffeine fix in the morning than Chao Coffee Co. Famed for its specialty brews, the cafe provides a wide array of coffees made from locally-sourced beans in Chiang Rai. For something different, opt for its fruity fizzy drinks such as the lavender-scented lemonade, or the passion fruit and orange sodas. Fusing modern European influences with traditional Thai styles, the designs here are a genius merge of the two different worlds.

After the opening of two successful branches in Ratchathewi and Sathorn, Craftsman has recently debuted its third site in Bangkok’s old town. Tucked away within Silpa Bhirasri’s House, a historic building under the supervision of Army Internal Audit Office, the cafe is warm and welcoming with antique furnishings and wooden decorations. You’ll find your regular cups of latte and espresso, roasted from a sophisticated series of coffee beans hailing from Kenya, Costa Rica, Panama and Geisha Perci. If you’re up for some art, you can always head upstairs to the art gallery dedicated to the works of Silpa Bhirasri, a celebrated artist during the reign of King Rama XI.

As its name suggests, Habit can seriously turn your coffee cupping into a routine, with an impressive selection of aromatic brews, from blended to single origin coffees. Not to mention, the cafe also features ice-cold infusions of dark chocolate with mint flavours. Japanese foodies will also enjoy its green tea Hojicha latte and luscious cheese cakes.
