It’s the hottest topic at our brunch table: what supplements are you taking? What juices are you drinking? And what else are you doing to get those vitamins pumping?
Everybody and their mother is out to get the most nutrients out of their day, and whilst we’re strong advocates for fresh OJ in the morning and have been taking Omega-3 since we can remember, there’s no denying that even the best of us get lazy sometimes.
Enter: vitamin water.
Whilst we’re definitely not nutritionists (and in fact wonder what nutritionists would say about this trend), lately we’ve let our gaze fall to vitamin water. Said to be loaded with essential Bs and Cs, they offer an interesting alternative to regular water, and a healthy substitute for Diet Coke and other sodas.
On a mission to see which ones packed the best punch, read on for our ranking of the best vitamin waters you can easily find in Bangkok. We’ve ranked them according to personal taste and health values, of course, but by no means mean to hurt feelings and flavour profiles or give medical advice.

The most millennial-looking of the lot, Concept Water prides itself in being a zero sugar vitamin water, claiming to be the first vitamin water ever launched in Thailand. 100% sweetened by stevia, the drink contains 13 kinds of vitamins, and is available in five different flavours: lychee, grape, lemon, kiwi, and orange.
Flavour: We tried both grape and lemon and were smacked in the taste buds with a very overwhelming fruit-like taste
Packaging: Millennial and trendy
Comments: Great if you miss overpowering sugary drinks, and need a healthy alternative, but not so great if not
Price: THB 25/500ml
Overall score: 5/10
Enriched with Vitamins B3, B6, B12, Zinc, and L-Arginine, MANSOME actually makes a whole variety of waters (from energy drinks to collagen water), but only two types of vitamin water specifically. These come in two flavours: pandan and beta glucan.
Flavour: We tried the pandan flavour and commend the effort
Packaging: Futuristic and strong-looking
Comments: We’re not big fans of its gender-dividing name
Price: THB 17/480ml
Overall score: 6/10
Targeting ‘New Gens,’ B’lue comes packed with 3 types of B vitamins, and is lauded for its low sugar content. We were particularly wooed by their interesting flavours, which range from calamansi, peach, and pear, to lychee and cactus.
Flavour: A strong fruity taste but not overly artificial
Packaging: Friendly
Comments: We enjoy this best when diluted with some water
Price: THB 20/500ml
Overall score: 7/10
This one made us do several double-sips just to understand what was going on. Enriched with a Vitamin B complex including vitamins B1, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, and B12, Vitaday just about manages the balance between flavouring and water. They also have two Vitamin C ranges, which we are yet to try.
Flavour: Fragrant yet not overwhelming
Packaging: Looks like it came straight from a gym
Comments: We tried the Chrysanthemum flavour, which had a very strong scent yet an extremely subtle taste
Price: THB 17/480ml
Overall score: 8/10
We didn’t have high hopes for this one, as Alkaline water has been around for a while, but never quite convinced us. Nevertheless, something is soothing about PH Plus Water. It contains a Vitamin B complex comprising vitamins B3, B5, B6, and B9, and has a pH of 8.5. It is produced using a Japanese technology, and is said to absorb fast into the body to balance out acidity. We mainly enjoyed it for its unpretentious taste.
Flavour: Subtle yet definitely present
Packaging: A bit ambiguous but it works (not as bulky as other brands, and yet packs way more content)
Comments: The easiest to drink
Price: THB 17/550ml
Overall score: 9/10
