Party-goers slash cat lovers, since you might be stopping by Coco Walk any day of the week, you might want to make a pit stop at Caturday Cat Cafe to met some cute little furry friends. Though you can’t hold or pick up the cats, guests are more than welcome to show affection – make that ‘cat obsession’ – by petting them.
Get lost in the fairy ‘tail’ at The Fairy Door. Here, the cats are roaming around in a setting that looks as though it has been transported from Alice in Wonderland, except the main characters here are kittens. Another special thing about the venue is that it serves as a cafe by day and a bar by night. Guests can enjoy an afternoon tea set during the day or the live jazz music and booze at night whilst enjoying the company of these cute four-legged friends.
Calling out all you “catsanovas,” if you’re looking for a furry buddy, Catsanova situated on Sathupradit Road is a non-profit adoptable cat cafe where you can give a home to stray cats. All kittens were rescued and are vaccinated and well-nurtured, ready to fill their new home with an overload of cuteness. Those who are uncertain about adopting a kitty, their Rent-A-Cat project also allows you to temporarily adopt a cat over your weekend or holiday, kind of like a test run to see if you have what it takes to be a kitty parent.
CatNip Café has a setting that’s low-key reminiscent of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, except it’s cats. Here’s a place for cat lovers to take full pleasure in the company of cats, as well as a scrumptious array of cakes and coffee. Substantial bites like sandwiches are also available. The must-try we recommend is the Choco Bomb drink that fittingly comes paw-patterned milk foam on top.
Minimal cafe hoppers who happen to also adore cats like crazy should head to Mohu Mohu Café. Helmed by a Japanese feline lover, the cafe is home to rescue kitties with many different breeds, and is also home to scrumptious Japanese food and desserts like Omurice, Oyakodon and honey toast. Be sure to come hungry for both the food and some kitty affection.
