Bangkok’s food scene never moves at a slow pace. The city is often — if not always — hungry for the latest and greatest in dining.

With a slew of new restaurants popping up every month, Bangkok is becoming one of the best culinary landscapes food lovers could ever dream of living in. From a chic Isaan restaurant and an art studio-themed restaurant to a fresh new sandwich haunt, here’s a list of new Bangkok restaurants to wine and dine at this February 2021.

Chim Chim Bangkok

Chim Chim Bangkok is more than just comfort food. The diner-style restaurant is a deliciously artsy hangout spot for both discerning diners and art aficionados. Situated within the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok, the venue is part restaurant and part gallery, with a great selection of Western and Asian breakfast, lunch, dinner and all-day brunch dishes served in a vibrant space. It is dotted with art pieces from all Thai, international, emerging, and established artists in rotation throughout each season.

Pi Kun

The brain behind Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu and Table 38, Michelin-starred Chef Andy Yang now works his magic at Siam Discovery, through his latest culinary establishment, Pi Kun (loosely translating to ‘Year of the Pig;). Here, he uses Isaan flavours to work on the venue’s central ingredient: pork. Patrons will see all types of pork cuts being used in a period drama-themed setting, which is also another highlight for Pi Kun, adding charm and a smile-inducing Thai aesthetic perfect for your Instagram feed.

Apart from their two other successful branches in Soi Phaisingtho and Soi Suan Phlu, diners can now also pay a visit to their new location, The Grocery Calle 35 nestled within Sukumvit 35. Here you can do your grocery shopping or unwind on their outdoor patio for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We know we do, and that’s why the new Mickey’s Diner (formerly The Beer Bridge) by Chef Chalee Kader of 100 Mahaseth is definitely a must-try for comfort fare fanatics. Their umami-packed Fried Chicken & Biscuit Sandwich and the Chicken-Fried-Steak blanketed with scrumptious gravy will make you want to march over there as soon as possible. No kidding.
