2018 is passing through us like a breeze and if you are a food enthusiast slash merit-making devotee, there’s no better way to end this year right if not with the Childhood Memories Chefs Charity dinner.

Hosted by Issaya Siamese Club, this special chef charity dinner which will be held on December 18 is aimed to raise money for the Child’s Dream Foundation (the Chiang Mai-based charity helping underprivileged children and youth in northern Thailand). All proceeds will go toward the foundation and its Half Day School Programme –which offers vocational courses, medical check-ups, vaccinations, nutritious meals, protection and care for children and youth who are at risk of trafficking and abuse.

Featuring a lineup of far-famed and skilful chefs, for example, Ian Kittichai from Issaya Siamese Club and Masterchef Thailand; Arnaud Dunand Sauthier, Le Normandie; David Thompson; Prin Polsuk; Francesco Lenzi, Lenzi Tuscan Kitchen; Sujira ‘Aom’ Pongmorn and Arisara ‘Papier’ Chongphanitkul, Saawaan; Andrew Martin, Issaya Siamese Club; and Dan Bark, Upstairs at Mikkeller, each guest chef will be serving a reimagined dish from their childhood favourites. So all in all, this is as much a cheerful charity dinner as it is a culinary feast of the year.

A fundraising auction will also be held during the delightful dinner service. Guests can enjoy bidding on exclusive and bespoke prizes including a round-trip business class ticket to Paris from Turkish Airlines and an exclusive lunch at L’Arpege – which is Alain Passard’s iconic three Michelin-starred restaurants; a picture by Yellow Korner; a Riedel wine decanter and stays at five-star resorts in Thailand and abroad.

So this December, let’s dine on good food for a good cause. Bring your appetite and join these dining initiatives to help Thailand’s at-risk youth. Hosted at Issaya Siamese Club, the dinner is inclusive of wine pairing and is priced at THB 9,500 per person. For further information and reservations, please call ++662 672 9040 or email contact@issaya.com.
