Empire Burger Bangna

Though there’s nothing uniquely new about bacon, we simply can’t deny how remarkable this Triple Bacon Beef burger by Empire Burger Bangna looks. Something about the plump sesame-speckled bun, the ooey-gooey layers of melted cheese between beef patties, and the generous serving of bacon on this dish just gives it that impressively drool-inducing effect.

Sava All Day Dining

Pasta always goes well with tomato and cream sauce. But sometimes the egg-enriched noodle just screams for a pungent sauce to give it extra spicy oomph. Sava All Day Dining’s Capellini is served swimming in a pool of Southern yellow crab curry with betel leaves and topped with lotus root tempura. It’s a combo of creamy, carb-y, and crunchy textures all in one bowl.

Lola's Kitchen

Lola’s Kitchen is all about mouth-walloping Filipino comfort fare and this Crispy Chicken Sisig is supporting evidence of that. Here, a medley of chicken breast, liver, and veggies are served on a sizzling hot stone plate, developing charred marks that give the dish a hint of smokiness. The egg bejewelled on top also gets slightly cooked whilst still retaining that runny, yolky texture to bind every element of the dish together. Delicious.

El Hefe Bangkok

If you ever stop by El Hefe Bangkok, the one thing you must get apart from their tacos is this Huaraches dish. The fried oblong-shaped, pinto beans-stuffed masa dough acts as a scrumptious plate that holds together all the tasty elements of salsa, greens, queso fresco, and your choice of protein. It’s as splendid in taste and it is in looks.

Vesper Caffè

Fitness devotees, if you’re going to have a cheat day and indulge in a basket of fries, you may as well make it healthy-ish. Vesper Caffè (which prior to the alcohol ban you knew as Vesper Cocktail Bar) offers up their luxe take on fries with the Butternut Squash Fries. They are sprinkled with a shower of pecorino romano cheese, and come with an impressive dip of honey spiced with harissa paste.

Some Time Blue Cafe

Let’s admit it; panna cotta is often not the most exciting dessert to order. But over at Some Time Blue Cafe, it’s a glorious day for this Italian-native treat. This Espresso Panna Cotta is made with an espresso shot that acts as a glaze to render this dark, bitter, and slightly sour taste to contrast with the sweet smoothness of the cream pudding underneath.
