Vaso - Spanish Tapas Bar

Vaso – Spanish Tapas Bar is a tapas maestro. Situated within Velaa Sindhorn Village, the venue offers contemporary Spanish cuisine touched with the charm of live-fire cooking. Apart from their selection of prime cuts of beef grilled over an open fire, the Scallops ‘Vieiras’ covered in succulent jus is also a must-try.

Mia

Let’s face it: the pre-dessert is a “pre-dessert” for a reason; it’s usually a ho-hum sorbet or acid-spiked treat of some sorts with the purpose of cleansing your palate before moving on to the main sweet event. But expect more from the pre-dessert here at Mia, simply because it’s amazing. Here, the Fennel & Lychee Sorbet with dill and shallot confit comes packed with textures from the shredded fennel and refreshing herbaceous notes. Between us, we think it even deserves the spot of the highlighted dessert over the main one.

3
Rallis

Home-style Greek food just doesn’t get anymore homier than here at Rallis. The restaurant nestled within the neighbourhood of Ramkamhaeng 44 churns out a scrumptious array of Greek dishes: gyros (wraps), souvlaki plates, salad, platters, and yoghurt-based desserts. The Rallis Mega Meat Set (THB 1,399), featuring lamb meat, chicken, and pork souvlaki as well as pita and traditional Greek dips, is definitely a crowd-pleaser that will cater to everyone’s palates.

4
Carne

Grilled Chicken sounds ordinary, but when it’s the dish made by Chef Mateo Roberson of Carne, you can guarantee it’s everything but average. Having been marinated in brine, the chicken, as a result, is injected with extra oomph and moisture before it goes off into the sous vide bath and onto the grill. The chicken is then drizzled with chayote cream and jalapeño salsa, and served with white rice mixed with quinoa for texture and nutrients. Yum.

5
Omakase Ki Shin

For the omakase connoisseur, Omakase Ki Shin just can’t be missed. Indulge in your love for uni, ikura, and toro, as well as a range of raw fish like akami, buri, bonito, Saba, and more. For those who love to enjoy premium Japanese fare in the comfort of your home, this Omakse Don (THB 2600++) for home delivery should be your go-to.

6
Shabu Tower

Beef buffs, bask in the wagyu-loaded joy here at Shabu Tower. The hot pot institution boasts a repertoire of great cuts: Japanese wagyu, Australian wagyu, Australian beef, New Zealand beef, Black Angus beef, Kurobuta bacon, and more. Other than that, their selection of seafood is also looking very gorgeous and drool-inducing.
