Central World welcomes Apple’s second and largest retail store in Thailand.

Snuggled in the heart of Ratchaprasong, the new Apple store made its way to the iconic and lively location of Central World. The latest Apple Central World happens to be the second and largest retail location in Thailand and truly one-of-a-kind.

The Architecture

For the first time, we are seeing an all-glass design, housed under a cantilevered Tree Canopy roof. The Apple Central World’s unique architecture is quite the attraction in itself, making it a hangout destination (or Instagram-worthy) for city dwellers. As you step inside, customers can roam between the two levels via a spiral staircase that wraps around a timber core or use the cylindrical elevator. The Apple store is easily accessible as it’s connected to the shopping centre and offers a direct connection to the Skytrain. Outside the store, there’s a community area for Bangkokians to chill under the large Terminalia trees.

The Latest Features

The newly-launched store houses the label’s latest features such as the Forum, Boardroom, and Freestanding displays. Not to mention, clustered around a Video Wall, the Forum will be home to artists, musicians, and creative souls with Apple sessions. Whether you are an entrepreneur or a local business owner, there’s a dedicated space for you to receive personal consultation and guidance from the Apple team as well.

Keeping the COVID-19 situation in mind, the store has taken all the necessary protocols and safety measures to ensure visitors’ safety. This includes temperature checks, social distancing enforcement, and the requirement of masks for both employees and visitors. With 130 new team members speaking 17 languages, the Apple store promises to offer us a new creative and inspiring centre.
