You may not have known that you needed a particular television to enjoy outdoors, but now you do.
Breathe new life into your home with the Samsung Terrace, the world’s first 4K QLED TV built for the outdoors.
The last five years have seen the Korean tech giant take over the consumer TV space, enabling itself to be a fierce competitor to other major big-name players. It has done so with the use of its quantum dot technology, giving users a new way to experience their TVs at home. Now, Samsung is going one step further by introducing its latest TV — the Terrace, a new home entertainment experience designed for the outdoors.

This expands on the brand’s lifestyle TV portfolio that already includes the Frame, the Sero, and the Serif. As it is made for the outdoors, the Samsung Terrace comes with all the necessary features without compromising on its performance. For starters, it has an IP55 water and dust resistance rating as well as a brightness level of up to 2,000 nits. This ensures that you still have a clear view of the TV amidst the sunshine.
There are three sizes to the TV: a 55-, a 65-, and a 75-inch model, all of which comes with its own pricing. The 55-inch model retails at US$3,455 (approx. THB 106,830); the 65-inch model goes for US$ 4,999 (approx. THB 155,000) and the 75-inch model will set you back US$6,499 (approx. THB 201,000). But you are paying for more than its worth; the Samsung Terrace is built to withstand whatever nature throws at it.
It follows the modern-day standard of what you can find in the high-end Samsung QLED TV range. This includes extended quantum dot colour, full-array local dimming, and an anti-reflective coating to boot. The Samsung Terrace also comes with its own ambient mode, allowing you to showcase other content on the TV when not in use. Being a smart TV as well, you can now have direct access to all your favourite online content without even having to go into your home.
If that isn’t enough, there is also the Terrace Sound Bar, which also has an IP55 rating. It also comes with distortion-cancelling technology, built-in woofers, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. According to Samsung, it “offers a dynamic sound that redefines the dimensions of home theatre.”
