For a new spot in town fit for a millennial’s taste, venture to Pongyo at Sansiri Backyard. The plant market nestled within the T77 community offers a wonderful repertoire of plants and gardening materials. We love the air-purifying plant section since those are much needed right now. Flowering and edible plants are also available to choose from. What makes this place even more interesting is the also the family-friendly activities such as plant pot and tote bag painting which can be enjoyed by kids and parents alike. Situated right next to Sansiri Backyard, make a day trip to buy plants as well as taking a stroll in the farm, feeding little chickens, and even picking your own organic vegetables.

Chatuchak plant market is oftentimes the go-to spot for city gardeners since it is fairly convenient to get there by MRT and BTS. Situated near the weekend market, the Chatuchak plant outlet features a vast collection of thriving greenery sourced from local growers from Thailand’s 77 provinces. It can be a little bit daunting — and exciting — for first-time visitors. Whether you’re looking for exotic orchids, trees, soil, or succulents, the market has them all to offer.
Hours: Tuesday (11 am-8 pm), and Wednesday and Thursday (5 am-6 pm)

Located next to Chatuchak, Aw-Taw-Gaw is another jam-packed spot for plant and food lovers. Known for its wide array of ready-made Thai fare and fresh produce, the market also boasts a section dedicated solely to a slew of potted leafy greens and flowering plants. Though their plant selection is not as varied as that of Chatuchak, the market is open daily so it sure is a perfect place you can visit on any given day of the week.

As one of the biggest plant markets in Bangkok, the 11th Infantry Regiment Plant Market is always blooming with endless selections of plants. For those who can’t really decide what kind of plants they want, this market should definitely be your move. There are so many options you can see and choose from, spanning flowering, low light, indoor and hanging plants.
