The Master of Materials unveils its classic collection in its new High-Tech Ceramic.
Culminating in many years of research and development, RADO unveils four new Captain Cook models for the first time in its preferred material, the High-Tech Ceramic. The collection doesn’t only stand out for its rugged and refined aesthetic but also highlights the brand’s innovative achievements in creating durable and elegant timepieces.
Form and functionality are given equal status in this collection. Besides 300 metres of water resistance and 80 hours of power reserve, the watch features Super LumiNova-filled arrow hands, indexes, and the triangle on the bezel for clear visibility in the dark. The black-tinted sapphire dial and case back give wearers the chance to admire the watch’s skeletonised movement, and RADO’s iconic rotating anchor motif is etched at 12 o’clock.
This launch marks the first time the Captain Cook models are available in a 43mm case, and three different versions will be available in Thailand. The first, a black high-tech ceramic case and bracelet with a hardened stainless steel turning bezel and black high-tech ceramic insert, works great as an everyday watch.
Looking to pair your pieces with a suit? There is a similar black high-tech ceramic case and bracelet version with a rose gold PVD-coated stainless steel turning bezel for a more polished look. If you’re looking for something to stand out from the crowd, the highly distinctive plasma high-tech ceramic version, accompanied by a blue high-tech ceramic insert, will turn heads whether paired with your work wardrobe or your date-night attire.
