Longines announces Regé-Jean Page as its latest Ambassador of Elegance

The latest addition to the Longines family is none other than Bridgerton’s Duke of Hastings.

Regé-Jean Page is the newest member to embody the Longines motto “Elegance is an attitude.” It’s fitting for someone who portrayed a Regency-era duke – the epitome of elegance. He has not only earned praise for his role but also nominations for the Emmy Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards, among others.

Beyond his famed role in Bridgerton, his upcoming roles include a starring role in Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster Dungeons and Dragons and a reimagined version of The Saint, for which he is also an executive producer. The multi-faceted actor has even been honoured in TIME’s 100 Next list.

“An actor with Regé-Jean’s talent, poise and presence only comes along a few times in a generation,” says Longines CEO Matthias Breschan. “It’s fair to say that he redefines elegance and all of us at Longines are excited to welcome him to the family.”

Equally thrilled to be working with the winged hourglass brand, Page describes his enthusiasm for Longines, saying, “It’s simple, really. Longines makes such beautiful watches. There is something very special about being able to work with things that bring beauty to the world.”

As for whether he thinks he’s an elegant person? “I think I’m capable of elegance and I like to hold myself to a standard of elegance, which means carrying myself with a certain consciousness,” he says with a smile. “Part of that is a generosity and living in a way that is helpful to other people. In doing that, you can bring more beauty to the world.”
