A true manifestation of love is beyond a heart shape or an emoji.

The deep fondness and mountain-moving affection, in modern days, has many more upgraded metaphors — like gifs and stickers, which express one’s affection equally good or better than a mere heart figure.

This season of love, Siam Piwat invites both couples and single souls alike to come by “Siam Center Presents Love of Siam with Laimo,” a specially-curated space at the Atrium zone of Siam Center – the Ideaopolis. Here, they can traverse over the innocent cuteness of the famed Taiwanese character, Laimo, who will waddle right into your heart.

The event is a collaboration with the Taiwanese-native artist “Mr.Cherng” who through the tip of his brush created Taiwan’s much-loved Laimo, a character with the liking of Malayan tapir but with the personification of a human. Contradicted to the seemingly cold, flat nature of the Malayan tapir, Laimo is a black and white character with relaxed, expressive, and amiable personalities. It’s a portrayal of someone who speaks his/her own mind, especially when it comes to showing affection and care. In other words, Laimo is a display of love and self-esteem, which will inspire you to seek inward for self-love as well as a fondness for others. Therefore, he’s a perfect mascot for the general vibe for the month of love, and even fits our theme of self-love for February.

Laimo Love – Wall Maze Zone

The event is divided into three zones: Laimo Love – Wall Maze, Laimo Invisible Head Love, and Laimo x BRIX Dessert Bar.

Invisible Head Love Zone

First off, the Laimo Love Zone comes with a wall, welcoming you to engrave and share your message of love that perhaps has yet not been spoken. The second zone, Invisible Head Love, will let you immerse into a mini-universe of Laimo up-close.

Laimo x BRIX Dessert Bar

Lastly, the third zone, Laimo x BRIX Dessert Bar will ooze out a dose of Laimo’s cuteness – as well as sugar. Through a collab of Laimo and BRIX, dessert devotees can take delight in a selection of drinks and desserts like Black Sugar Bubble Milk Tea, Zebra Milo Lava, Choux Lux, Panburger, a spongy pancake slathered with fresh cream, and so much more.

In celebration of Valentine’s month, soak yourself up in A heart-warming potion at “Siam Center Presents Love of Siam with Laimo” at the Atrium zone on the ground floor until 1 March 2020. OneSiam is also an ideal all-in-one date night spot, considering hundreds of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Haven’t figured out the right spot to spend with your sweetheart? Dine at one of their many eateries and pop-by to see Laimo to cap off a wonderful time with your loved one.
