It’s the scariest time of the year. But, it’s also one of the most fun.
All the costumes, the parties, the tricks and the treats — Halloween in Bangkok is always a wild night. This year, we’ve seen more Bangkokians celebrating than ever before, taking their costume and makeup game to the next level. At the same time, bars and restaurants gave us plenty of choice for parties and, yes, Instagrammable moments. On that note, we’ve been sifting through the city’s thousands of fabulous (and some outrageously wild) Halloween photos on Instagram and we’re applauding all your incredible outfits. From makeup artists to supermodels, here we’ve gathered just a few of our favourite Instagram posts from that big spooky night. You know, just in case you needed some entertainment for your hangover.

It’s not Halloween in Bangkok if the biggest stars aren’t dressed up too. The Grim Reaper can only dream of looking like Sririta.
Already known for their ‘Day of the Dead’ aesthetic, the Thai fashion label was always going to go big for Halloween. Their party at Flamenco was a vibrant and colourful one, as was suggested by their gorgeously illustrated invitations posted here on their Instagram.
Being drag royalty means Pangina will always take a fancy dress opportunity seriously. Needless to say, we weren’t disappointed. (Oh, and isn’t that caption simply perfection?)
Nothing beats a good old classic.
The award for the best Halloween party photo station goes to Wine App BKK.
Our favourite (and possibly first) couture Halloween costume we’ve seen this year.
Spooky can be classy too.
You can sure rely on one of Bangkok’s most talented makeup artists to do the best, most realistic face paint for Halloween.
Bangkok’s favourite cartoon illustrator showed that Halloween doesn’t have to be completely scary – it can be adorable too. Her adorable collaboration with D’ARK Café was a perfectly innocent diversion from all the blood and gore of other Halloween content.
So, hands down the most lit Halloween party in Bangkok was quite easily the fang-tastic spooky banquet hosted by designer and H-ween queen, Vatanika. Every costume, every detail, every Instagram picture was on point. It’s a fact: nobody does fancy dress quite like Miss “This is Me”.
