Best Dressed in Bangkok: February 2019

A busy month has gone by, with plenty of reasons to go out and get dressed up. We’ve had an auspiciously vibrant Chinese New Year, a Valentine’s full of dapper-looking men, and even some mountain-high fashion from those taking to the slopes for the February winter. Here are our favourite looks that saw this month through with fabulous February spirit.

June Sawitri Rochanapruk

This ever-smiley, impossibly photogenic presenter has never let us down when it comes to fashion. But what we love about her style is how broad it is. She’s one of the few women who can move seamlessly from full-length Dior to an adorable Chinese qipao with hair in bunches. Always fabulously presentable even when not presenting, we thought the sunny Miss June shone especially bright this winter month.

Von Sugunnasil

Named one of Bangkok’s best tailors, Von doesn’t look too bad in a suit himself. He seems to be one of those men who can annoyingly look super dapper without putting too much effort in. With a professional eye for flattering fits and complementary colours, it’s no surprise that this skilled suit-maker also knows how to be a skilled suit-wearer.

Sririta Jensen

One of Bangkok’s hottest model/actresses has gone to cool down with a winter holiday in the snow. But out on the slopes, the creator of ORGANIKA has shown that she can still look as chic as ever, even with skis on. Bold jumpsuits and shades as cool as ice — these were some on-point on-piste looks.

Nine Naphat Siangsomboon

With the release of his new film, Friendzone, Nine has been one of the most talked-about actors this month. And the most stylish. His classy-cool blend will never be out of fashion, and his natural charm and confidence make even the most fashion-forward choices seem effortless and laid-back. Sure, he might have been styled by a professional, but doesn’t it also take character to make an outfit work

Jan Jittima Wattanasin

The city’s most valued fashion consultant knows that dressing averagely is never going to get you far. For this bold-spirited and fashion-savvy businesswoman, strong and movable looks are the way forward. Previously known as Bangkok’s “Chanel Girl”, Jan rocks a female power suit like no one else. It might help that she’s an impressive height and slim figure, but we think it’s more about her innate Chanel sense of one-of-the-boys chic.
