It’s time to pull out some athletic summer wear.
Keeping outdoor activities use in mind (and coinciding with the re-opening of parks in Bangkok), Nike has unveiled its latest ACG collection that will be arriving as summer kicks off.
Standing for All-Conditions Gear, Nike ACG is designed and tested to perform specifically in the great outdoors. Many of us might not be able to go outside right now but Nike wants us to be ready when we can, designing a collection specifically for summertime with cooling ventilation, sweat-wicking fabrics and UV protection. The range also includes plenty of layers to keep you comfortable during all weather conditions, from the women’s NRG ACG Crop Top and NRG ACG Short to the men’s GORE-TEX Paclite Jacket, while details such as multiple pockets and reflective fabrics have been added with exploration in mind.
With the new range also partly inspired by hiking in Japan, the pieces are also lightweight and easily packed away, and can be accessorized by the Nike ACG Air Deschutz hiking sandal, which will be released the same day. Aesthetically, expect bold and bright color blocking patterns and graphics across both the men’s and women’s range.
“Part of the Nike ACG mission is to get more people into the outdoors and appreciate the environment,” says Nike Design Director Nur Abbas. “What’s really exciting about the latest ACG collection is that we have an increase in women’s offerings across the board. As we look ahead to next steps in the Nike ACG journey, we’re excited to bring more people into the beauty of nature through exploration — no matter who you are.”
The first drop of the Nike ACG summer 2020 collection releases May 14 on nike.com and the Nike App.
