Vickteerut’s avant-garde collection at Elle Fashion Week 2018

At Elle Fashion Week 2018, Vickteerut‘s creative director Aurapraphan Sudhinaraset made a bold move for the Fall/ Winter runway by reimagining the Middle Eastern and South Asian folktale – titled ‘One Thousand and One Nights’ – into a modern, avant-garde collection.

Fusing Arabian styles with athlete elements, the collection showcased a balance of sensual femininity and sporty, masculine touches – all resulting in hooded jersey shirts, voluminous tulip skirts, pleated harem trousers, and off-shoulder balloon blouses. The designs also echo Vickteerut’s brand personality, a contemporary woman with captivating charm, to its fullest by playing with colourful palettes from lush-green to fuchsia-pink, as well as delicate fabrics including plush velvet, luxurious silk, and satin.
