Celine’s Alphabet C Necklace

I was never one to wear the first letter of my name as a necklace, however, seasons change, as do people. Nowadays, the thought isn’t so bad. And ‘C’ doesn’t just stand for Celine! When I saw Thai singer and rapper Lisa from South Korean band Blackpink wearing a Celine Alphabet Necklace (THB 13,791) the other day with the letter ‘M’, for her last name ‘Manoban’, I thought, “ooh, I want one!”. These alphabet necklaces are brass with a gold finish and are very eye-catching, elegant, and, of course, come in every letter of the alphabet. If you’re not using it for your own name, it’s kind of a sweet way to always have the first letter of the name of that special someone close to your heart. Herbivore Botanicals’ French Pink Clay Soap Bar

I have a bit of a thing for soaps. Every odd Sunday I like to embark on sporadic soap-sniffing missions, sampling a select (often local Thai brand) few to either use in the bathroom or in my closet. And although Herbivore Botanicals is quite international and a bit more mainstream than what I normally go for, I’m a little bit in love with their latest new arrival in Bangkok: the French Pink Clay Soap Bar (THB 555). I have sensitive skin, so I like having gentle products like this one to grace it, without over-drying or over-perfuming. The soap is super softening and boasts a citrus and floral scent that feels ideal for summer, and uses clay properties to aid the rejuvenation process. Vegan, non-toxic, and cruelty-free, I love the whole no-fuss vibe of the entire thing. Soaps are kind of nerdy, which makes them kind of cool, and though I probably won’t be soaring over to the French Riviera this summer, I’m happily soaking in French Pink Clay. Très magnifique. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Leila Love Amulet (Limited Edition)

The cult Thai jewellery brand that has transformed superstitious charms into the hottest trend in Bangkok right now has just released a whole new collection. This beautiful heart charm (THB 3,990) is supposed to enhance your love life, but I’ve fallen in love with the jewellery piece itself. With a gorgeous pair of pink lovebirds contained inside, these amulets can be strung along prayer beads as a bracelet or hung on a chain as a necklace. You can also mix and match with the other amulets in their collection should you need luck in multiple areas of life! However, the heart pendants are a special limited edition and are only available at their collaboration pop-up at Topshop, Centralworld. Be quick – love is very much in demand. – Karn Chatikavanij, Style Writer

April Pool Day’s Poppy Dress

Summer’s spell is stuck here with me. Rain or shine, I’ll be rocking my flower-themed sundresses. This Poppy Dress by April Pool Day (THB 1,990), in particular, has been keeping my summertime spirit going. With poppy flower motifs in purple-blue and pink, the dress is a conversational piece that hits the sweet spot for me. – Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer

Kate Spade’s Under The Sea Shell Stud Earrings

Aren’t pearls the most beautiful organic gemstone? A touch of seaside sophistication and a little sparkle that tells you to glam it up. Kate Spade New York’s Under The Sea Shell Stud Earrings (THB 2,633), looks like it just emerged from the sea, just as its name suggests. This jewel-studded shell with cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings is elegant and offers a timeless approach. I love that it has crystal accents and it’s gold-plated but still gives a summer-friendly look. It’s sparkly and charming, and far from the usual classic pearl earrings we often like to go for. Let’s not forget, June’s birthstone is pearl so it’s definitely pearl season here! Even though I’m not born in June, I think the universe is giving me a signal to buy these very affordable pair of sparkles! – Alisha Pawa, Staff Writer

La Mer Blue Heart Crème De La Mer Moisturizing Cream

In celebration of World Oceans Day this month, La Mer (of course, “the sea” in French), have released their annual special edition moisurising cream (THB 20,100). Their classic and most beloved product has been dressed up in a shining blue tub with shimmering sea fans and watercolour coral. It’s the kind of magical look we want all our seas to have. La Mer is deeply dedicated to their ocean conservation projects, and Blue Heart is the brand’s very own fund to pave the way towards cleaner seas. Support this cause with their Blue Heart Moisturising Cream and you’ll be protecting your skin and the environment. – KC
