A floral fragrance is usually not my cup of tea, but after giving the Sì PASSIONE (THB 4,200) from Giorgio Armani a try, I’ll have to admit that I’m obsessed with its fruity mix of fresh pear and blackcurrant scents. After the first spritz, the fragrance somehow develops into a gorgeous combination of red roses and fruity notes, sprinkled with a spicy pink pepper that gives it a sophisticated twist. After all, I couldn’t get enough of this dreamlike whiff — it’s as smooth as a gentle whisper of springtime. –CO

One of the heavy hitters released at BaselWorld 2018, TUDOR’s Black Bay GMT Watch is easily a crowd-pleaser with its burgundy and blue ‘Pepsi’ brezel, a good-looking combination of the original colours of the first two Black Bays that I reckon would instantly add masculinity to any wrist. While the styling is on point, bringing the magic is Tudor’s in-house, COSC-certified MT5652 caliber with a silicon balance spring, a 70-hour power reserve and — you guessed it — waterproofness at 200 metres. The refreshed design also comes with a choice of a riveted steel bracelet, a black fabric strap with a burgundy stripe, and my personal favourite, the ‘Terra di Siena’ brown leather strap. —Pearl Yan, Managing Editor
I love a cute leather dress shoe, and the trend of adding a wooden wedge platform to them is bringing the style to new heights — quite literally. These White Elyse shoes by Stella McCartney are a cool example, bringing drama to any everyday outfit in a way that is bold yet still somewhat casual. I love the contrast between the three different textures used, and the fact that I could probably tower over all of my friends at any occasion in these. It’s like wearing heels without the commitment, and looking extremely trendy no matter what else you choose to wear. —Lisa Gries, Staff Writer
TUMI has long been known for creating sleek, uncomplicated travel essentials, and the new Bates Backpack from the ‘Harrison’ Men’s Spring 2018 collection is no different. The backpack has a double zip entry, as well as two exterior pockets for fast-access items, and I already feel like this will prove extremely handy for slipping my iPad in and out of during quick airport transits and long-haul flights. Also, can we talk about this smooth Deep Ocean Nylon colour for a second? It’s already putting me in the mood for a quick diving trip along the exotic coastlines — or at least, dreaming thereof from my office. —LG
