SHISEIDO x SIRIVANNAVARI

Chanel Sabai style

Famed for her successful boutique line SIRIVANNAVARI, HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana is no stranger to the Thai fashion circle. Yet, her talents aren’t only limited to fashion. Recently, she joined forces with SHISEIDO to launch a glamorous beauty collection called ‘Princess Hanayaka’ (THB 3,500). This limited-edition set resembles her elegant style and her own’s brand signature prints, which saw her harness two years worth of dedication to its special production. The eyeshadow palette caught my eye the most, as it comes with eight different shades inspired by a field of rice and the sparkly midnight sky. From golden bronze to smokey blue, the palette boasts a practical range of colours that allows us to mix and match for endless makeup looks. Highly recommended. — Chanya Ormtavesub, Staff Writer

Roger Vivier Club Chain Evening Bag

Chanel Sabai style

The festive season is on the horizon, and while the holiday parties call for a more playful take on fashion, we can’t help but feel stressed by what to wear. As accessories are a great place to start our seasonal updates, this Roger Vivier’s Club Chain Evening Bag (THB 78,000) makes the cut. With its magical ability to elevate an eye-catching type of elegance, this velvet bag is dressed up with the brand’s iconic buckle and intricate tassels, imbuing it with a certain sparkle. Polished with a gold tint, it’s a statement accessory that’s nothing but perfect for any glamorous evening event. – CO

Rado DiaMaster Petite Seconde Automatic COSC

Rado DiaMaster Petite Seconde Automatic COSC

I’m a watch nerd, and I also like sneaky little surprises, so when I saw Rado’s new 2018 DiaMaster Petite Seconde Automatic COSC (THB 82,800), I knew it’d be right up my street. Whilst at first glance the 43mm watch appears simple (though sleek), its interiors are wild. The timepiece combines a beautiful juxtaposition of hard-wearing durable plasma with an elastic silicon hairspring, which is not only a mind-blowing pairing of materials, but also allows it to achieve that COSC certificate for precision (a rare big deal). I love the sophisticated ceramic case and overall ‘sensible’ vibe of the watch, even though its interiors are easily something to freak out about. Together with a playful rose gold moving anchor on the dial, here’s my watch nerd crush of the week. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Chanel Sabai Style Earrings

Chanel Sabai style

Bangkok’s latest in breaking news (in the world of luxury): Chanel hosted its first-fashion show (in a long time) at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, bringing with it the latest cruise collection that was specifically invented for Thailand. Taking over the hotel’s pier, Chanel Sabai Style was attended by an exclusive number of celebrities and VIPs, who all gathered by the Chao Phraya River to witness the star-studded show. With swift-flowing waves as an understated backdrop, the runway was filled with sunset-worthy blue shades and breezy silhouettes. On top of the sublime setting and cool river breezes, there was something really charming and eye-catching about the Maison’s jewellery line, spotted on quite a few individuals. This fresh-off-the-runway pair of earrings (THB 22,000) is my personal favourite; it’s got a dangling figure and circular frame, which are reminiscent of a sailor’s rope and a boat float. Crafted from glass and sterling silver, the earrings also feature a crystal-clear stud with a blue colour and season’s signature star sign, adding a chic, glistening touch to the design. – CO

Kira Floral Mini Shoulder Bag from Tory Burch

Chanel Sabai style

A bag that speaks of summer, what’s not to love about that? It’s no wonder why the Kira Floral Mini Shoulder Bag (THB 17,757) from Tory Burch is my current obsession. Why? This vacation-ready statement is the kind of bag that can whisk me away to a flower-filled garden every time I even look at or touch it. The bag is made of tooled and printed leather, embellished with floral motifs and the iconic double-T logo that turns stylishly into a turn-lock closure. It can be worn cross-body or over the shoulder, so the bag looks good no matter how I carry it. With many interior pockets, this mini bag also comes in just the right size for all my essentials, making it the ideal companion to the beach, dinner or on a date. – Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer
