Giorgio Armani Rouge D'Armani Matte

It might be hard to find a matte lipstick that doesn’t dry out your lips, but don’t underestimate the hydrating powers of this Giorgio Armani Rouge D’Armani Matte (THB 1,400). I love how the luscious lipstick is packed with a truly hydrating formula that’s also got ultra-pigmented quality. Available in 18 gorgeous shades, the lipstick collection ranges from nude pink to deep plum. As a rouge-loving lady, Lucky Red is hands-down my favourite from the launch. It works a treat for precision, offering the universally flattering red shade that complements just about everyone. This lipstick from Giorgio Armani will be my ‘partner in crime’ whenever I want to pull off a fierce and sophisticated look. – Chanya Ormtavesub, Staff Writer

Note: Giorgio Armani Rouge D’Armani Matte is set to launch on 15 September.

Boy Chanel Handbag

Tweed is one of Chanel’s signature fabrics and pearls are one of its most iconic accessories. So when it comes to tweed and pearls, it’s no denying that Chanel knows best. This is why I found it very captivating when the brand gave its signature Boy Handbag an update by combining both of the house’s codes. Featuring pearl studs and crafted tweed, this seasonal bag (THB 160,000) is definitely one of those items that’s worth collecting from Chanel. With its sparkly embellishments and midnight palette, the bag can be paired with any outfit, elevating it with a luxurious touch, too. Absolutely stunning. – CO.

Tom Ford Concealer

I’m so in love with this concealing pen by Tom Ford (THB 2,600). These days, concealer really has become my best friend and I can’t emphasize more how having the right concealer can save you masses of time whilst also giving you that picture-porcelain-perfect skin in a matter of minutes, the type that you’d usually only rely on foundation for. Tom Ford’s Concealer Pen is so good that I don’t even bother using foundation anymore! The sponge tip feature is flexible and soft enough to target those harder to reach areas around the nose and mouth. Apply under the eyes and on blemishes for a super fresh look. Less makeup, less time yet same result is an ultimate win for me. Thank you Tom Ford! – Catherine Napalai Faulder, Managing Editor

Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 38

I’ve been getting into aviation and pilot watches lately, and while I’m still testing the waters (or rather, the skies), the latest Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 model (THB 196,000) is definitely soaring to the top of my wrist-wishlist this week. I love the classic look of the new beaded bidirectional 18K red gold bezel, especially in combination with the brown alligator strap. The dial is refreshingly clean for an aviation watch with only three hands, yet still provides that typical Breitling high-performance with a sleek aviation slide rule. Bagging in on both aesthetics and mechanics, Navitimer 1, you’ve got my head in the clouds. Beautiful. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Note: The Breitling Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 will be available in Bangkok from October.

The Great Grilled Cheese Book by Eric Greenspan

Just like PB&J sandwiches and Pad Krapow (Thai Basil Stir Fry), people have their own opinions on what makes for a good grilled cheese sandwich. So in my case, when hunger beckoned for a late-night munch fest, supermarket cheese and a bag of bread got me grilling this mouthwatering delight. After a while though, this got old. That’s why when I discovered The Great Grilled Cheese Book by Eric Greenspan (THB 565), I knew my midnight munching sessions were in good hands. I’ve now given new spins to the humdrum grilled cheese sandwich. So if you’re like me – a real sandwich kind of girl – this book is bound to be your kitchen bible too. — Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer
