I always find Marimekko‘s Unikko patterns so charming and timeless. Steeped in the brand’s history, it all started in 1960s, when designer Maija Isola drew inspiration from poppy flowers and turned them into cute illustrations. Since then, the floral motif has become one of its signature designs that was reimagined in many different colours. This Talvio Unikko skirt (THB 10,600) from its latest Pre-Fall collection caught my eye at first glance, with the iconic print in this apricot colour and a waist-cinching ribbon. A perfect piece for the autumn wardrobe, this flowery skirt is sure to perk up any look. – Chanya Ormtavesub, Staff Writer

Fresh Sugar Lip Hydrating Balm

Always on the lookout for a smooth lip balm (and always pretty much squealing when Fresh drops anything here in Bangkok), I was really excited to see that the Sugar Lip Hydrating Balm (THB 740) has made it to stores here. The rich new formula smoothes and locks in moisture beautifully, making for a soft and supple pout. It’s available in chocolate and caramel flavours too, but the creamy coconut is definitely my favourite. A nourishing solution for natural-looking shine, I’m (coco)nuts for this one. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Golden-glazed porcelain pumpkin bowl

October to me means nothing but pumpkins. What better time to celebrate this heavenly orange fruit — yes, it is categorised as a fruit – if not during autumn? So to play into festivities as well a play the part of a good dinner host, this golden-glazed porcelain pumpkin bowl (THB 3,457) by Neiman Marcus has been a downright helper for amping up my dinner game at home for family and friends. Simply put any sumptuous soup in it and voila – you’ve got yourself a glamorous dinner any guest would die to dig right into. – Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer.

Apple Watch Hermès Series

The new Apple Watch Hermès Series 4 (approx. THB 45,355) is finally here, and whilst I’m not normally a wearable-tech kind of gal, the brighter, bolder, and wonderfully colour-blocking new models are definitely making me consider a convert. I have always been a fan of the striking Hermès orange colour tone, and combined with the indigo and craie leather double tour wristband here, brings a sophisticated and yet fun flair to the timepiece. New for the Series 4 is the shifting of colour on the screen as the minute hand moves around the dial for a watch that looks contemporary, tech-savvy, and yet still classic. A great piece for Apple Watch beginners, like myself. — LG

Clarins Double Serum

Clarins has launched so many incredible skincare essentials, but its popular Double Serum (THB 3,700 per 30ml) has always been one of the products that I keep repurchasing every time it’s run out. With anti-ageing elements, the serum is enriched with a hefty fusion of 20 botanical types, ranging from fruity berries to leafy vegetables. Not only does it prevent fine lines by giving your skin intense hydration, it also stimulates collagen production, leaving your skin all healthy and youthful. What’s more, its aromatic scent is like no other; absolutely fresh and gorgeous. – CO

La Crème Main, Texture Riche by Chanel

Dry fingers and skin are the worst and after years of not taking care of them, I am now not shy about upping my budget for the sake of soft hands. Mademoiselle Chanel recognized the importance of this back in 1927, and the Maison has kept with the tradition with La crème main, a necessary food for parched skin. The velvety formula has had a 2018 update with two complementary ingredients working their magic, may rose and iris pallida, which create a captivating scent. Most importantly, its “shape memory” pebble fits perfectly in the palm of my – take a guess! – Catherine Napalai Faulder, Managing Editor
