Jim Thompson Green Rooftop Leather Top Handle Bag

The iconic silk brand of Jim Thompson hasn’t let the season of love slide this year as the house readily embraces the day of love with stunning gifts made from gorgeous Thai silk. One look at this green Rooftop Leather Top Handle Bag (THB 39,500) and I was swooning, falling madly in love with the tropical print and nature-inspired design. The colour – I’d say it’s not just a plain green but has a turquoise air to it – is one of my favourite colours and is simply divine. The bag features leather embroidered silk blend patterns and a Nappa leather interior and is best worn with a white or fuchsia summer dress. Eye-catching and exciting, this is the perfect accessory for any love-fuelled outfit. – Catherine Napalai Faulder, Managing Editor

Miu Miu Pink Denim Skirt

Miu Miu is one of my all-time favourite brands. Their style is all about modern femininity, having fun, and being just a little bit flashy. It’s a label that I find quite relatable. On my latest trip to its renovated store at Siam Paragon, I spotted this marbled Pink Denim Skirt (THB 32,500) which is one of Miu Miu’s simpler items but still very Miu Miu in its purest form. There’s a good balance between delicate femininity and city toughness. Not to mention that pink and denim is a match made in millennial heaven, and I am, for better or worse, an outright and unadulterated millennial. What’s even better than this skirt is this skirt with the matching jacket which was also in store for another THB 54,500. I should probably stop going into Paragon for a while. Available at Siam Paragon and Emquartier. – Karn Chatijavanij, Style Writer

Franck Muller Crazy Hours 15th Anniversary Asia Exclusive

I love a man’s watch on a woman. There’s something wildly seductive, powerful, and intriguingly juxtaposing about it. And so, when I came across Franck Muller’s gift guide for Valentine’s Day, my face became a heart-eyed emoji not only for the women’s timepiece, but even moreso for the men’s. Franck Muller has a thing for surreal colourful dials, which I think they do very well, but they never really worked for my own every day look. I love a brightly coloured nail polish. I revel in a few playful bracelets. And I want my timepiece to complement these on the daily in a classy way. Enter the absolutely gorgeous men’s Franck Muller Crazy Hours 15th Anniversary Exclusive in Rose Gold (THB 1,066,000). Where a black dial and a brown alligator strap may sound like a risky colour combo, I love that the watch manages to pull it all together in immaculate style with the white and rose gold accents. I’m considering it the horological reimagination of a great glass of Scotch after a long day. A man’s watch on a woman. A woman who drinks whisky. I’ve fallen into a dreamily intoxicating Franck Muller trance once again. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Tod’s Valentine’s Red Gomminos

With Valentine’s Day coming up, the eyes can’t help but wander around in the heart-filled collections at every storefront. Even the formal Italian shoemakers, Tod’s, have released their version of lovey-dovey wear. I like that the red on these Shoes (THB 28,500) is a nice rich colour – not tacky like red can so easily be – and that the heart decoration is simply Tod’s classic metallic accessory taking on the romantic spirit. Also, because V-day this year is on a weekday, these shoes would be the perfect solution to an office-approved celebration of love. The brand is also known for being pretty comfortable, which makes it a much needed alternative to all the Valentine’s stilettos currently taking over! Available at Siam Paragon and Central World. – KC

Bey-Birk Carbon Fiber Lacquered Cigar Humidor

According to many famous cigar-related quotes that say “smoking a cigar is like falling in love,” a thought of giving my partner a cigar humidor filled with Cuban stogies this Valentine’s Day all of a sudden seems perfectly appropriate. The reason being? I want him to feel like falling in love over and over daily – since my wish every Valentine’s Day is for love to not die and wither. Made with yellow-lacquered wood, this Carbon Fiber Lacquered Cigar Humidor (THB 6,721) by Bey-Berk just downright suits our sunshine-filled relationship. So I guess this is what he’ll be getting on February 14. — Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer.
