Les Nereides

Les Nereides Ballerina Earrings

I buy earrings more than any other type of jewellery and have quite an extensive collection. Yet I still always seem to have room for more — especially when Les Nereides comes out with a new collection. The brand always does a great combination of cute and sophisticated jewellery, and I’ve currently got my eyes on this absolutely gorgeous pair featuring ballerinas wearing tutus made of pink crystals (THB 7900). Dangling earrings are always a good idea because they can be playful and fun while also giving you an elegant silhouette. These are a prime example. Eye-catching, childhood-evoking, and simply delightful: I think they’re the perfect companions for any occasion. — Karn Chatikavanij, Style Writer

Chloè Faye Small Bracelet Bag

I’ve had my eye on Chloè’s bracelet bags for a while now, and for this new, smaller edition (THB 35,102), my eyes have turned to hearts. Crafted from suede, the bag can be worn in three different styles, though the hand-carry is definitely my fave, dangling from the wrist or hand like an elegant yet still somewhat playful accessory. I love the contrast of textures and the smooth navy ink colour, and I love that the bag is big and small enough merely to fit my phone and key essentials. No fuss, yet endlessly charming. Faye keeps it real. Classic Faye. — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Weekly Obsessions: Les Nereides, Chloe, Fresh, Anantara

Culinary Journey with Anantara book

I read cookbooks like literature. And if you ever step into my home, you’ll first encounter a bookcase brimming with hard-cover, vibrant recipe books that I’d go back to read over and over again. The one that’s been recently added to my repertoire this month is Culinary Journey with Anantara (THB 990), which is laden with conversational travel shots and drool-inducing recipes from across 15 countries around the world. The book pays tribute to each country’s heritage as well as all my favourite dishes from the toothsome Thai, Portuguese, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Middle Eastern cuisines and more. That’s why the book is unquestionably a true delight for foodies who love to eat as much as to travel. – Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer

Nespresso, Les Nereides

Nespresso Ice Coffee

Like many people, I’m in a very committed relationship with my morning coffee. Everybody loves a good energy (ok, caffeine) boost to start the day. The only problem is that when the weather is super hot, which, in Bangkok, is all the time, a warm espresso from your coffee machine just isn’t exactly what you want. But Nespresso have cracked it. They’ve made special coffee capsules that work just like your regular Nespresso shot except they’ve been created to work and taste well specifically as a cold coffee. Nespresso’s new ‘Australian Summer’ series of these ice coffees are amazingly refreshing and just what you need on a hot day. You can go for the Flat White Over Ice for a classic treat, but I personally love the Long Black Over Ice for its versatility. Top tip: use sparkling water. (THB 26 per capsule, 10 capsules per box, available in Thailand from 24 July onwards) — KC

Weekly Obsessions

Audrey Hepburn by Rongrong DeVoe Giclee Print Canvas Art

When it comes to classic beauties, we can never fail to mention Audrey Hepburn’s name. She was the epitome of grace and a fashion icon we can never forget. Deep down inside I’ve always been a die-hard fan of Hepburn’s style. This piece of art by Rongrong Devoe Giclee just caught my eye and I thought “why not?” After all, this painting would add a little liveliness and drama to my bedroom. The look of this painting gives a vivacious vibe, and I love that this cotton canvas comes in a 18X26 inch size (THB 4662). It also uses face-resistant ultra-chrome archival ink which guarantees that this painting would remain just as elegant it is today in the coming years. — Alisha Pawa, Staff Writer

Fresh Cosmetics Glow Juice

Fresh Cosmetics Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Face Serum

You had me at ‘Glow Juice’. As our dedicated drinks writer, I spend a lot of my evenings (read: nights) at some of the city’s coolest haunts, yet inevitably this also often means that I’m a grumpy sleepy camper the next morning. Coffee, food and water do a lot of the trick, but sometimes we forget that even our exterior needs a little TLC post a long night. Enter this Fresh Cosmetics Antioxidant Face Serum (THB 1200). I love how energised it makes my face feel, giving me plenty of daily protection as well as brightening and nourishing my skin. A bit of a recharge button, the Vitamin Nectar manages to bring back lost hydration, and gives my complexion a healthy glow. Reset and ready to go. — LG
