Saint Laurent’s Kate Chain Wallet in Leopard Printed Velvet

Jill Stuart

I’m not a big fan of leopard print, but I’m finding it hard to not to jump on the bandwagon now, especially when many designer labels have started showing their stamp of approval by launching products with these fierce-looking designs. That’s why I try to incorporate the print into my outfits with some accessories. This Saint Laurent’s Kate Chain Wallet in Leopard Printed Velvet (approx. THB 135,000) from the Christmas Capsule Collection is a perfect place to start, as it comes with a clutch silhouette that can be worn to festive parties all season long. With the brand’s iconic logo and gold chains, the leopard bag will look absolutely gorgeous when paired with a shiny satin dress and patent high heels. – Chanya Ormtavesub, Staff Writer

Dolce & Gabbana Sicily

Jill Stuart

I always think of perfume as an invisible accessory that can exude the personalities of its wearer. Recently, I got to try this Dolce & Gabbana Sicily (THB 10,000), and it now happens to be my perfect daily fragrance. The top note is made of bergamot, which comes across as a bright, summery note that evokes a sense of sitting in a sun-filled garden. The drydown is a romantic blend of jasmine and rose, which is heightened by a sheer touch of minty aromas. With its citrusy-meets-floral scents, the sweetness and spiciness in this bottle all work in harmony, striking a balance between serious sophistication and soft femininity – how I wish people to recognise me after all. – CO

Cath Kidston Disney Classic Box Cosmetic Bag Bambi Rose Pale Stone

Jill Stuart

Cath Kidston is back at it again. Doing what the British brand does best — that is, tug at my heart strings and make me say ‘aww’ — I am loving the new Disney Bambi x Cath Kidston collaboration. A sweet reminder of days when I was half my height and doubly as dreamy, this Classic Box Cosmetic Bag (THB 960) features a delicate Bambi and floral design in shiny oilcloth fabric. I love that this makes it waterproof, yet is disguised with an adorably feminine motif. A sweet container for all my favourite pastel eye palettes and lipsticks, I can already see this cosmetic bag becoming a faithful travel companion for all my trips this festive season. Spontaneous winter weekend getaways? I’m ready! — Lisa Gries, Staff Writer

Jill Stuart White Love Story Collection

Jill Stuart

Jill Stuart is known for dreaming up some of the most whimsical makeup lines on the market, and thanks to their new release, we can now slide into winter like an ice queen. The latest feat of brilliance, this White Love Story Collection (THB 2,450) is hands-down my favourite, as it has got all the frosty shades and shimmery finishes I need for the season. The set comes with a whole beauty bag filled with a face highlighting powder, an eyeshadow palette, a mascara and a lip gloss. I’ve tried everything on, and the result is stunning. The highlighter offers a dusting of silvery glitter that manages to look both subtle and eye-catching on my complexion. Its eyeshadow palette is no less impressive, featuring six versatile hues which let me create a variety of looks. For the mascara, its film-like formula is designed to work wonders in Bangkok’s humidity, creating long-lasting curls with ease. Last but not least, its lip gloss is probably what I love the most about this collection; it gives my pout a natural, pink hint with a sheer layer of sparkle. – CO

Chocolate Calendar Box

Jill Stuart

During Christmastide, my December life pretty much relates to Forrest Gump’s saying, “Life is like a box of chocolates.” As for my Christmas tradition, the advent chocolate calendar is always a must. Something about getting different chocolate every day completely scalds me with such a delightful holiday spirit. Every flavour lights up and sets my mood each day differently. And for this year, my advent calendar of choice goes to the Chocolate Calendar Box (THB 1,900) from Erawan Bakery at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. Featuring over 32 pieces of assorted chocolates like Irish Coffee, French Vanilla Tea, Dark Hazelnut Cluster, Milk Almond Rocher, Durian Truffle, Tom Yum Truffle and NYE Praline Pop, advent calendars really couldn’t get any more fancy or cooler than this one. — Kankanit Wichiantanon, Staff Writer
